Cornish: Day 44 & 45
I didn’t write anything for last Monday because nothing really went on in any of my classes since it was the last day before a long Thanksgiving break.
That break was nice, and much needed.
Today in class we worked on some sodering hot connections. Easier than I thought it would be. We went down to the third floor to talk about how to go about our research paper. Spent some time...

Cornish: Day 43
Friday had to have been one of the worst days at the school I have encountered, and it wasn’t even due to anything that went on with class.
Foundations we learned how to knit, and crochet. How to soder, and make different types of cold connections with wire. That went fine. It wasn’t until later on the day, when I felt like my whole body shut down. Turns out I had swine. ...
Cornish: Day 42
Thursday was pretty uneventful. Had a test. That’s really it.
Cornish: Day 41
Today in Foundations we went down to the first floor and looked at our camo canvases for the first time in a place outside of Whole Foods. It really shed light on how a place can really keep something in context. My was displayed on it side which kind of bugged me, haha, but considering mine is pretty much impossible to interpret being away from Whole Foods, it didn’t really matter...
Cornish: Day 40
Getting kinda sick of this whole, dark at 4pm thing already, the gloomy weather doesn’t help either. But hey, I live in Seattle, so I guess I should be used to it.
Got my last cluster grades (meaning 2 cluster’s ago) for Foundations, 94%. Still maintaining a solid A in that class right now. Really happy about that. We finished up our cluster on Color last week with our...
Cornish: Day 32 to 39
Oh, hello. I know that there has been a crazy absence with this blog as of late, and I think it’s mainly been to life be so hectic lately. Over the past two weeks I’ve had a ton of projects, my mom started a new job and went out of town, and I’ve been working.
Some of the Projects that have taken place since my last post:
Seattle Art Museum Presentation Project
Color Grid

Cornish: Day 31
Friday’s update.
Friday was a pretty fun day. We all had to dress in a certain color (to go along with the color theme this cluster) for Halloween, and make a human color wheel. Snacks upon snacks. That was about all we did in foundations.
Carved pumpkins in J Hags class and watched the 1932 movie Freaks.
This is the best idea our artistic minds could come up with.
Autumn and...
Cornish: Day 30
Thursdays update.
Got our tests back in Visual Art History this day. Got an A. Excited by that.
Turned in our essays. Had a lecture on art from the Early Roman Empire.
Have a big project to work on for that now.
Cornish: Day 29
Wednesday’s update.
Foundations and the color cluster got a lot more interesting this day. We started off by finish off our collages if we hadn’t already. Then we headed off to another gallery a few blocks away. I wish I had taken my camera to school this day, the gallery was awesome. Some really interesting pieces inside. Came back and messed around with gouache for a bit, then...
Cornish: Day 28
Ok, I’m getting really bad at this, so here comes a ton of updates at once.
This is for Monday.
Monday in Foundations we started our cluster based on color. At first it didn’t seem really too interesting. We had to make a bunch of collages based on certain aspects of color, which ended up being way more time consuming than I thought.
Didn’t have IS that day due to J Hags...
